The 8-story condominium with spacious 2,3, and 4 BHK units is located on one of Kolhapur’s busiest but most fascinating streets. The goal was to establish a unique identity to the towers by altering the genre of residences, and contribute to the upliftment of Kolhapur’s architectural skyline with a modern take on apartment buildings. The holistic design of the apartment includes a dynamic play of the building’s mass and 3D volume, such that the terrace levels of both towers are socially linked. The 200m long pedestrian loop connecting the two terraces is refashioned into a community space for the residents, enhancing people’s opportunities to engage with the outside world, which is an essential aspect of one’s post pandemic life. With a hope to turn each home into a sustainable and environmentally friendly place, the building form and material selection is derived from detailed climatic study, which aids in the detailing of the building’s design approach..
